NJSIAA registration opens on April 22

To register, please go to www.njsiaa.org and click on the officials’ tab, then click on “Arbiter Registration”

Registered Official
A registered official is any official who has completed the registration process with Arbiter but has not completed the eligibility process.

A registered official can be assigned by any NJSIAA approved assignor but cannot work any regular season or tournament contests until they have successfully completed all eligibility requirements. All registered officials may officiate scrimmages, but will be locked out of working regular-season games until they clear the eligibility requirements.
Registered officials will be removed from all assignments if they have not successfully completed all the eligibility requirements one week prior to that sports opening day.

Active Official
An active official is any official who has completed the registration process with Arbiter and cleared all eligibility requirements. Active officials are eligible for all levels of contests by the NJSIAA. Each chapter will determine the readiness of each of its officials.
